The Forgotten Doll

This doll was lost and forgotten in the forest many years ago. No one knows who she once belonged to or how long she lay there among the moss and leaves. But lately, she seems to change her place during the night.

This art doll was completely handmade

The head is made from cotton fabric and filled with stuffing. Please be careful, as there are wires sticking out that are meant to represent the pumpkin vines.

I embroidered leaves and beads onto the fur. The artificial flowers are glued on. The cape is made from an old dress and the little amulet on the front is made from an old vintage hair clip that I glued on.

To give the doll that old, aged look, I dipped her in brown fabric dye and shaved the fur in some areas.

The body is made from wire, wrapped in cotton batting and covered with faux fur. The legs and arms are poseable.

This art doll can only be displayed in a seated position.
