I’m Melissa, a mom of three little girls, living in the beautiful Black Forest in Germany.

Ever since I was a child, I have always been drawing and painting. Paper and brushes were always close by. I mostly worked with pencils, but also with acrylic and oil paints.

When my first daughter was born, I put painting aside for a while. Since my husband works in the evenings, I eventually started crafting again out of boredom. That slowly got a bit out of hand and today there is a nearly three meter tall tree made of papier mâché standing in the children’s room.

I taught myself how to sew and first made plush toys for my children. From that, the idea for my art dolls was born. My goal is to create my Guardians as realistically as possible, until they one day almost look like small living beings.

The name of my brand has a very special meaning to me. It is a memory of Alastari, our bearded dragon, who passed away in 2025. It also represents the mystical and magical side of my work. The cuteness in my art dolls is inspired by my rabbit Piti, who sadly passed away in 2026. Together, they embody exactly what my creations stand for, a mix of mysterious and sweet.

I am grateful for every single person who follows my journey and watches me grow and develop with each piece I create.
